Introduction

LS4808 and LS4816 are next-generation speaker line monitoring units, designed to replace the long-standing LS4600. Available in 8-channel (LS4808) and 16-channel (LS4816) versions, these units offer fast, accurate monitoring of speaker circuit integrity including ground leakage, short circuits, and open circuits, using advanced impedance measurement—eliminating the need for end-of-line resistors or blocking capacitors.


Powered by a high-performance processor and refined measurement algorithms, LS4808 and LS4816 deliver faster detection with greater precision. Dual detection modes—Basic and Advanced which allow flexibility to suit installation needs, while a trigger monitoring function allows enables timed activations when linked to a timer. Fully compliant with EN54 requirements, these units are ideal for ensuring reliable speaker line monitoring in safety-critical PA and EVAC systems.
