Introduction
PMX III is a next-generation software designed for Amperes iPX System, an IP-based PA solution. More than just a BGM and paging server, it serves as a complete PA management platform with advanced features such as scheduling, text-to-speech announcement and remote monitoring to meet modern public address requirements.
PMX III is available in two versions: Standard and Premium. The Standard version supports a multi-channel BGM server with up to 10 channels, allowing different music to be streamed to various BGM clients (Amperes iPX5155 / iPX5300). It also offers advanced zone management for flexible paging directly from a PC. The Premium version extends on these features with device monitoring, scheduling, zone mapping, and a Google-based Text-to-Speech (TTS) engine that allows text messages to be delivered in multiple languages using natural-sounding voices.
With its powerful features, PMX III is the ultimate solution for managing IP-based PA systems efficiently and seamlessly.

Music Channel / Server Dashboard
PMX III supports up to 10 music channels, streaming different audio to Amperes music clients or IP speakers. This allows each area to have its own music, such as English songs in a Western restaurant. As a matrix audio streamer, it is perfect for multi-zone setups with different audiences.
Paging and Messaging
PMX III makes PC-based paging easy with colour-coded zone keys that replace traditional keypads. It supports up to 254 zones with customizable names for easy identification. The Premium version adds zone mapping for a visual layout, while zone grouping allows seamless messaging to multiple areas at once.
Schedule Creation
PMX III offers flexible scheduling for automated playback of tones or stored audio files. You can set schedules for specific dates, recurring weekly events, or interval-based triggers. Each playback can be assigned to individual zones or groups, ensuring precise audio distribution.
Text-to-Speech (TTS) Synthesizer
When live paging is not ideal, PMX III Premium offers a Text-to-Speech (TTS) feature that converts typed messages into spoken announcements. You can choose from a variety of voices, including male or female, with native or accented speech in your preferred language.
Speech speed and pitch can also be adjusted to match the acoustic environment for optimal clarity. You can preview the message before it goes live, and a quota indicator that helps track usage, ensuring timely replenishment when needed.
Remote Monitoring
PMX III Premium version includes a live monitoring module that remotely monitors connected devices such as amplifiers, line monitors, battery chargers and other equipment. These devices can be connected directly to the LAN or via the Amperes iPX5500 Ethernet Communication Box.
