Introduction
PD1240 is an enhanced version of the popular PD2400 series, designed for small installations with fixed zones and four groupings. It features soft-touch sensor buttons and an embedded sound processor for improved audio quality and modern aesthetics.
Key features include priority level assignment, multipoint paging setups, adjustable chime and microphone volume controls, and an illuminated gooseneck microphone for ease of use. It includes four pre- and post-paging chimes and connects directly to TD6240 or TD6080/TD6400 zone decoders/selectors. For long-distance installations, a two-pair screened cable is recommended, with power and interfacing handled by the included EX2800 External Connector Unit.
PD1240’s electronic switching eliminates mechanical switches, ensuring durability and minimizing wear and tear for reliable, long-lasting performance. It is also interchangeable with other models in the PD series and fully compatible with the MxP2288 MatriMix system as well as PMX system, offering flexibility and seamless integration.
