Introduction
PD1280 and PD1240 are advanced paging consoles in the PD series, designed for flexible zone-based paging in small to large-scale installations. Both feature soft-touch buttons, gooseneck microphone with LED ring, built-in chime (pre- and post- announce) and adjustable chime and mic volume controls,.
Key features of PD1280 include a large graphic LCD panel for easy monitoring and configuration. It supports larger installations with 256-zone capacity, programmable into 8 groups with 24 zones each, and 9 priority levels for seamless multi-point paging. Meanwhile, PD1240 is ideal for smaller systems with fixed 4-zone groupings and a 24-zone console with soft-touch selection buttons.
For long-distance installations, a two-pair screened cable is recommended, with power and interfacing via the supplied EX2800 unit. Both models connect directly to TD6240 or TD6400 zone decoders and integrate seamlessly with MxP2288 matrix controller and PMX software. With electronic switching for durability and compatibility across the PD Series, they provide reliable and scalable paging solutions for multi-point paging setups.
