Introduction
PD1280 is an upgraded version of the popular PD2400 series, tailored for large-scale installations. It features soft-touch sensor buttons and an embedded sound processor, delivering improved audio quality and modern aesthetics.
Key features include a large graphic LCD panel for easy monitoring and programming, support for up to 256 zones, programmable grouping (up to 8 groups with 24 zones per group), and 9 priority levels for seamless multi-point paging. Additional features include built-in chime options, adjustable microphone and chime volume, and an illuminated gooseneck microphone. Designed for versatility, PD1280 connects directly to TD6240 or TD6080/TD6400 zone decoders and comes with the EX2800 External Connector Unit for power and interfacing. For longer distances, a two-pair screened cable is recommended. Its electronic switching ensures long-lasting durability by eliminating mechanical switches, reducing wear and tear.
Fully interchangeable with other PD series models, PD1280 integrates seamlessly with the MxP2288 MatriMix and PMX systems, offering unmatched flexibility for modern paging needs. Combining advanced functionality, durability, and elegant design, PD1280 is the ideal choice for high-performance paging systems.
