PR7400

Remote Paging Overriding Module

PR7400 is a module designed for paging systems, providing both relay activation and audio conversion in a compact unit for easy installation.

Converts 100V line audio to balanced line output

Enables emergency override for local sound systems

Works without a 24V DC override cable

Adjustable sensitivity, relay trigger time & output volume

Introduction

PR7400 is a versatile module designed for paging systems, providing both relay activation and audio conversion in a compact unit.

  • Relay Activation: Provides NO/NC relay contacts (1A) to override local BGM and bypass volume controls for priority paging, even without a 24V DC override

  • 100V Line Audio Converter: Converts 100V paging audio the balanced line level for use with local amplifiers or sound systems for paging broadcasts

Recommended for boutiques, restaurants, function rooms, classrooms, and remote buildings using a 100V line without a 24V DC override. Compact and reliable, PR7400 ensures clear and uninterrupted paging in any system.

Packing information
  • Carton size: 110 (L) x 85 (W) x 160 (H) mm

  • Gross weight: 0.75kg (Including adaptor)

  • 1 unit(s) per carton

Example 1: Overriding Local BGM Source

Some zones, such as retail units, restaurants, and theaters, typically operate independently of the central paging system, using their own BGM or simple PA setups. PR7400 ensures essential paging overrides local audio by bypassing volume controllers (if any) and sending line audio to the mixer.

    Example 2: Overriding Local Speakers

In this setup, central paging powers local speakers, ensuring emergency messages are heard even if the local amplifier is switched off. It's important to ensure the central amplifier has enough power for the local speaker load.
