AuraLab

Acoustic Simulation Platform by Amperes Electronics

legal disclaimer

Terms of Use

AuraLab is designed to support Amperes Public Address System planning and acoustic evaluation.

Please review the following terms, limitations and responsibilities before using the platform.

These Terms of Use govern your use of AuraLab. They are provided for informational purposes and do not constitute legal advice. If you have any questions regarding these Terms, please contact the platform operator before using AuraLab.

Simulation Disclaimer

Simulation results are predictions, not measurements. RT60, STIPA, SPL and coverage are calculated using AuraLab's browser-based acoustic simulation engine. For safety-of-life or regulatory compliance projects—including voice alarm and emergency PA systems designed to BS 5839-8, EN 54-16, IEC 60849 and MS IEC 60849—all simulation results must be independently verified on site using calibrated instruments before commissioning, certification or regulatory sign-off.

Standards & Methodology

Standards and methodology. AuraLab implements recognised engineering standards and acoustic calculation methods, including ISO 3382-1, ISO 9613-1, IEC 60268-16:2020, ISO 17497-2, and established models such as Sabine, Eyring, Schroeder and Beranek, with documented simplifications. References to these standards are provided solely to describe the underlying methodology. AuraLab is not independently certified, accredited or approved under any of the standards referenced.

Warranty Disclaimer

No warranty; engineering judgement remains yours. AuraLab is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranty, express or implied, including any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or regulatory compliance. The operator accepts no liability for design, engineering or procurement decisions made using AuraLab's output. By using AuraLab, you acknowledge that all simulation results must be interpreted by a qualified acoustics, AV, architectural or engineering professional, or by a person working under their supervision, and must not be represented as commissioning-grade measurements or certified test results.
