Introduction
The all-new EVS8820 Integrated Voice Alarm Controller now features a redundant 24V DC backup power supply for enhanced system reliability during mains power failure. Designed as an extension unit for the EVM8810 Master Controller, it seamlessly expands the voice alarm system beyond the EVM8810's built-in 8 speaker zones.
Each EVS8820E adds 8 additional speaker zones, allowing the system to support up to 16 zones with one extension unit, or up to 24 zones with two EVS8820E units. This scalable architecture provides a cost-effective and flexible solution for larger BGM and voice evacuation (EVAC) installations while maintaining centralized system control.
