Introduction
iPX5455 and iPX5155 are BGM and Paging clients / transceiver (Ethernet Audio Extractors) designed for Amperes iPX network systems, delivering reliable audio streaming and zone control in decentralized installation. Both units receive audio from PMX software or iPX5200 and deliver balanced audio output to amplifiers with RS485 data to zone decoders for zone selection, while automatically mute BGM during paging and giving priority to emergency messages from iEP1200 or EP1200.
In iPX5455, each channel operates independently with unique IP address, audio, and RS485 connections. It can be configure as either an audio receiver or transmitter through a web browser, making the iPX5455 a flexible and space-efficient solution for high density IP audio systems.
