Introduction
EP1200 is a rack-mounted Emergency Paging Panel, also known as a Fireman's Paging Station, equipped with a handheld dynamic microphone for highest-priority emergency paging. It overrides all other audio sources, including background music, sirens, and pre-recorded messages, for immediate emergency announcements.
EP1200 supports automated EVAC message broadcasting via dry contact activation, with RS485 communication to bypass connected devices such as TD6400 for zone overriding. It also features a built-in siren generator with automatic All Call activation when triggered, ensuring system-wide emergency announcements.
EP1200 can be integrated with Amperes Matrix Controllers MxP2288, Fire Alarm Interfaces FI6000 MK II, and EVAC Message Players MR1301 MK II, providing a reliable solution for emergency paging and evacuation applications. For larger systems, it can interface with iPX5101 IP client for LAN-based emergency paging across multiple racks.
