Introduction
PMX II Standalone is a PC-based software that manages your PA system, including music playback, storage, scheduling, message playback, and paging. This standalone version runs on PCs running Windows 8 or later. Using a dongle converter, it connects the PC's audio and control outputs to a conventional PA rack. When paired with Amperes products such as zone decoders and paging microphones, it can detect priority paging, making it an essential part of any paging system. For better performance, it can be used with an integrated touchscreen PC and connected to the PMX6500 interface.
This version offers a simpler setup than the PMX II LAN, with limited features, and requires the PMX6500 audio converter to work in standard PA systems, ideal for smaller setups.
