FI6001 is a 24-channel dry contact extender module for the FI6000 MK II Voice Alarm Controller, expanding trigger inputs for large multi-zone installations while ensuring EN54- and BS5839-compliant, phased voice evacuation during emergencies.

Introduction
FI6001 is a 24-channel dry contact extender module designed to work seamlessly with the FI6000 MK II Voice Alarm Controller.
When a project requires more trigger inputs than the main controller can accommodate—such as in large buildings divided into multiple fire alarm zones—additional FI6001 units can be added to expand system capacity. In compliance with EN54 and BS5839 Part 8 standards, the FI6001 ensures that voice alarm messages are automatically activated upon fire detection and broadcast in a clear, phased sequence—from initial warning to final evacuation.
Together, the FI6000 MK II and FI6001 provide a reliable and scalable solution for efficient emergency voice evacuation across complex installations.
